Secondary School Curling 

Secondary School tournaments are run in conjunction with School Sport New Zealand and in accordance with their guidelines. There are annual tournaments at North Island, South Island and New Zealand levels.

NZCA run Training Camps for Secondary School Students, and each facility runs 'Have a Go' sessions where you can learn how to curl.

New Zealand Secondary Schools Competition

NZCA Training Camps

NZ Curling Association hosts Training Camps as part of our Development Programme.  We host a two-day training camp in the July holidays for beginner and intermediate curlers and those interested in selection for the NZ Junior Teams.  

There is a two-day compulsory camp for our NZ Junior Representative teams in September.

Local Secondary School Competitions

Alexandra, Auckland, and Dunedin run local school leagues, training, and 'Have a Go' sessions. See below for more details.  Maniototo Secondary School students enter the MCI Contractors Cup as a weekly league.
